Anthony Hervey is an acclaimed American trumpeter, composer, and educator who has rapidly emerged as a leading voice in contemporary jazz. Recognized by Grammy.com as one of the “10 Emerging Artists to Know,” Hervey has captivated audiences worldwide both as a sought-after sideman and as a visionary bandleader.  He is joined by the masterful pianist Sean Mason for a night of duos celebrating the music of Thelonious Monk and more.

Last season, trumpet master, inexhaustible band leader, and fashion icon Etienne Charles lit up The House of Swing with his Appel Room performance of Carnival: The Sound of a People. Now, he returns to Dizzy’s Club leading his Creole-inflected big band featuring master practitioners from across the globe. Expect a spirited set of new music designed to pull every listener of every generation from their seat to their feet.

Dizzy’s Club proudly presents Ted Nash’s bi-monthly residency featuring his hard swinging big band. Known for his boundless creativity as an arranger and performer, Nash leads multiple innovative projects while touring as a core member of the JLCO. His residency continues with Jazz Meets Pop , bonding pivotal film scores, musical theater selections, and iconic pop bands with “the improvisational spirit and sophistication of jazz.” Expect an evening of brilliant interactivity and a thrilling sense of spontaneity.
