**Event Overview:**  
Named in honor of one of British Columbia’s most beloved composers, the Jean Coulthard Readings and Mentorship Program offers emerging BC composers a unique opportunity to develop their orchestral writing skills. Under the guidance of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra (VSO) and mentorship from VSO JCR Mentor Edward Top, these composers have spent the past ten months honing their craft.

**Special Notes:**  
This event is a celebration of the hard work and creativity of six emerging composers who have collaborated with guest composers and VSO orchestra members. Attendees will have the chance to hear their compositions performed by a professional orchestra.
