Chamber Ensemble in Residence at Wigmore Hall, the Nash has been presenting an annual themed series there since 1979. The ensemble’s 2023–24 season at Wigmore Hall was entitled ‘Songs from my Homeland – Music from the Czech Lands with works by Brahms’, and the annual Nash Inventions concert on 26 March 2024 was a celebration and remembrance of the life and music of Sir Harrison Birtwistle. There was also a concert dedicated to the artists and to the music performed in the Theresienstadt Concentration Camp 1941–1945. Tragically, many of these wonderful artists were murdered at Auschwitz.

Experience an extraordinary musical journey with the Bangor Symphony Orchestra's presentation of "Mozart's Jupiter." This concert, conducted by Lucas Richman, features the groundbreaking talents of GRAMMY award-winning electric violist Martha Mooke. Known for her electrifying performances and innovative compositions, Mooke will perform her piece "Invisible Hands" for 5-string electric viola and orchestra, a work that transcends traditional musical boundaries through the use of extended techniques, technology, and improvisation.

The program is a tribute to composers honoring composers, beginning with Ravel's "Le Tombeau de Couperin," a suite that pays homage to the Baroque era. This is followed by Ibert's "Hommage à Mozart," a piece that celebrates the timeless influence of Mozart. The concert culminates with Mozart's Symphony No. 41 in C Major, K. 551, famously known as "Jupiter," a masterpiece that showcases the composer's genius in orchestral writing.

Martha Mooke's illustrious career includes performances with renowned artists such as Barbra Streisand, David Bowie, and Elton John. She is the founder and artistic director of the Scorchio Quartet and has received numerous accolades, including awards from ASCAP and Meet the Composer. Her work spans solo, chamber, symphonic band, and orchestral compositions, as well as multimedia, film, theater, and ballet scores.
