- **Warlock - Capriol Suite:** Experience the charm of French Renaissance dances through Peter Warlock's Capriol Suite, based on Thoinot Arbeau’s Orchésographie.
- **Schumann - Konzertstuck for 4 horns:** Marvel at the virtuosity of the WSO horn section led by Dave Lee, as they perform Schumann’s tour-de-force, showcasing the full potential of the new valve-horns with a blend of military fanfares and romantic melodies.
- **Roussel - Sinfonietta, Op. 52:** Delight in the French theme with Albert Roussel's short yet captivating Sinfonietta for Strings, composed in 1934.
- **Beethoven - Symphony No. 5:** Conclude the concert with Beethoven’s mighty Fifth Symphony, renowned for its famous four-note opening that plunges the audience into a profound musical journey from darkness to light.
