### Beethoven’s Inadvertent Masterpiece

Join us for an exquisite afternoon of chamber music presented by the Society for Chamber Music in Rochester. The concert will feature Beethoven’s grand Septet in E-flat major, Op. 20, a masterpiece that showcases the composer’s brilliance. This performance will be preceded by two captivating French works: Darius Milhaud’s Suite for Clarinet, Violin, and Piano, Op. 157b, and Camille Saint-Saëns’ Bassoon Sonata, Op. 168. Additionally, we are thrilled to present a beautiful piece by Eastman-trained oboist Elizabeth Raum, Romance for Horn and Piano, for the first time on an SCMR concert.

- **Darius Milhaud:** Suite for Clarinet, Violin, and Piano, Op. 157b (12 minutes)
- **Elizabeth Raum:** Romance for Horn and Piano (5 minutes)
- **Camille Saint-Saëns:** Bassoon Sonata, Op. 168 (14 minutes)
- **Ludwig van Beethoven:** Septet in E-flat major, Op. 20 (41 minutes)
