This concert features Sonata Pastorale by talented American pianist and string player Lillian Fuchs and Jessie Montgomery's ode to friendship Duo for violin and cello, alongside intriguing new works by RCM composers.

Royal College of Music Museum

In this exciting new concert curation, members will premiere their works inspired by the theme of ‘protest’. The composers have responded to the topic in a variety of ways, drawing upon subjects meaningful to them, and ultimately bringing a unique perspective on issues regarding animal rights, global politics, freedom of speech, mental health and many other equally thought-provoking subjects inextricably linked to ideas of protest.
