Kind of Jazz, led by pianist Jan Lundgren, has become something of an institution in Stockholm’s jazz scene. This spring tradition now enters its eighth season, presenting three new concerts in the Grünewald Hall – three distinct encounters in which Lundgren brings together musicians from various backgrounds and generations.

Jazz på Svenska from 1964 is the best-selling Swedish jazz record ever. The record really established Scandinavian jazz as a phenomenon and became an important milestone within the genre.
