Jazz Sabbath is a jazz trio from Great Britain that plays new jazz arrangements of Black Sabbath songs. Although, the band presents itself as a jazz trio founded in 1968 and the original authors of the tracks later made famous by Black Sabbath.

In a tongue-in-cheek show helmed by pianist Adam Wakeman (Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne’s solo band since 2004), Jazz Sabbath ​are a jazz trio from the UK that plays (instrumental) jazz interpretations of Black Sabbath songs, exploring the boundaries between jazz and the songs that defined heavy metal, echoing already present jazz riffs and discovering new ones.

After a year off, Rick Wakeman’s traditional Christmas tour returns in November and December 2024 with an all-new show! In a change from his usual solo Christmas concerts, Rick will be joined by two very special guests: his son and fellow keyboard player Adam Wakeman and Mollie Marriott, daughter of the late Steve Marriott, both of whom performed so brilliantly with Rick on his Return Of The Caped Crusader… tour in February.

The new line-up will give Rick much more range and flexibility in the material he is able to perform, which will be a mixture of old and new from his back catalogue, some traditional Christmas songs and an unexpected piece of audience participation!

Expect hilarious banter from Wakemans Senior and Junior, as Adam tries to control his father’s gentle ‘unwokeness’, fabulous soaring vocals from Mollie and virtuosic performances from a pair of musicians widely acknowledged as two of the most outstanding keyboard players in the business.

On his 77th birthday, keyboard player extraordinaire Rick Wakeman CBE is delighted to announce that he and the English Rock Ensemble will be touring the UK in February and March 2027 with his The Wizard Of Prog – Ultimate Highlights Concert Tour.
