In the dynamic landscape of contemporary jazz, Scottish pianist and composer Fergus McCreadie has carved a remarkable niche. Since 2021 his career has skyrocketed, propelled into the international limelight by two acclaimed releases. His debut album Cairn (2021) set the stage for a journey deeply rooted in natural themes, while Forest Floor (2022) was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize and clinched Scottish Album of the Year - the first Scottish jazz album to do so.

From Scotland to Italy to Lithuania, Fergus McCreadie (piano), Mindaugas Stumbras (guitar), Michelangelo Scanroglio (doublebass) and Mattia Galeotti(drums) have forged a special connection over many years of playing together. Generated initially from a friendship between Mindaugas and Michelangelo, they met in 2018 for the first time in Florence and have since made music many times in their respective countries.
