Cæcilie Norby's Christmas concerts in Montmartre have been a tradition for many years. Once again this year she is back with her star team consisting of some of the world's best musicians.

The jazz queen Cæcilie Norby, the Grammy-nominated composer Peter Jensen, a top-tuned rhythm group and the Danish Entertainment Orchestra will at this concert recreate a bit of 'La Belle Époque' - the creative explosion that from Paris resonated all over the world, so that it can still be felt in day.
The audience can look forward to an experience of another world, where Cæcilie Norby returns to the atmosphere from parts of her award-winning Arabesque record with completely new compositions and lyrics. These were created with inspiration from works by, among others Ravel, Debussy and Satie, who during La Belle Époque – before the First World War hit – helped melodically and harmonically pave the way for what later became jazz and popular music.

Jazz legend Nils Landgren and musicians visit the Berwaldhallen and the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra for a full evening where music from the album Some Other Time (A tribute to Leonard Bernstein) has been arranged for 15 wind players, harp, percussion and jazz trio. New and old jazz stars such as Joe Sample, Kurt Weill and Michael Wollny are also highlighted in this innovative concert.

Nordic jazz legend Lars Danielsson returns to Paliesius Manor - this time with a solo program that you won't hear anywhere else! The jazz star will play both double bass and cello at the Pasaga Concert Hall. This is a rare opportunity to meet a Swedish musician and hear special music.
