Under Fortuna’s guided hand, we find ourselves at The Paths of Fate, our second concert of our season: The Sounds of Destiny. Beginning with Mozart’s Overture to Don Giovanni, the opera's themes of love, morality, chaos, and consequences set the stage for the emotional and existential choices we all face. Einaudi’s Experience follows, illustrating the struggle of having to choose our own paths but the hope and faith in ourselves to carry on. The longing for unchosen paths is poignantly portrayed, however, reminding us that no matter our choice, our journeys are meant to be.
