Phoebe Lin is a junior in course 12 (Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences) studying flute with Cynthia Meyers. Originally from CA, she grew up affected by the California wildfires and decided to study extreme weather and atmospheric sciences to help prepare others better for extreme weather. On campus, she runs the weather column of The Tech and forecasts weather for MIT's WxChallenge team. She has also played flute and piano in the MIT Wind Ensemble, Chamber Music Society, Symphony Orchestra, and Video Game Orchestra. In her free time, you can find Phoebe cloudgazing, trying new ramen shops, and playing video games with her older brother Andrew.
