First presented in 1998, Sarah Kane's play Crave is a work with a strong poetic charge and great violence. With its many openings of meaning and its almost complete absence of stage directions, it constitutes a considerable creative challenge that the graduates of the École supérieure de théâtre de l'UQAM wanted to take up as part of the free production.

Estelle is a devoted employee who can always be counted on. Her unscrupulous colleagues take advantage of this to make her do whatever they want, constantly abusing her candor... until an unexpected event disrupts the dynamics within the company. Taking the form and rhythm of a soap opera in which kindness and cruelty evolve hand in hand, My Cold Room paints a portrait of sometimes benevolence, sometimes sadism.
