In this program, Antoine Hunter, a superbly gifted dancer/choreographer, founder of Urban Jazz Dance Company, and advocate for the Deaf community, expresses his experience in a hearing world through dance.

The Calder Quartet, consisting of Benjamin Jacobson and Tereza Stanislav on violins, Jonathan Moerschel on viola, and Eric Byers on cello, has been hailed by the Los Angeles Times for consistently reaching new levels of excellence. Their performance is anticipated to be a highlight of the festival, showcasing their ability to explore a broad spectrum of repertoire and fulfill the composer’s vision with every performance.

The program for the afternoon includes Beethoven's String Quartet No. 3 in D Major, Op. 18, No. 3, Thomas Adès' The Four Quarters, Caroline Shaw's Entr'acte, and Debussy's String Quartet in G Minor, Op. 10. This selection promises an engaging experience for all attendees, from classical music aficionados to those new to chamber music.
