#### Event Overview:
Celebrate the 40th anniversary of the iconic Paramount Motion Picture with a vibrant stage adaptation of "Footloose" at the Morgan-Wixson Theatre. This musical tells the compelling story of Ren McCormack, who moves from Chicago to the small town of Bomont, USA, only to discover a ban on dancing imposed by the local preacher, Reverend Shaw Moore. Determined to bring joy and freedom back to the town, Ren fights for the right to hold a school dance, challenging the town's restrictive laws.

- **Music:** Enjoy toe-tapping, rump-shaking favorites from the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, including the chart-topping hits "Footloose" by Kenny Loggins and "Let’s Hear it for the Boy" by Deniece Williams.
- **Story:** A heartwarming tale of a father longing for his lost son and a young man yearning for the father who left, and how they help each other heal.

Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella is the Broadway adaptation of the classic musical. While a departure from the popular Disney movie, this version shares many favorite features of the story, including the famous glass slipper, the opulent ball, and all the romance and charm. This contemporary take on the classic tale features Rodgers and Hammerstein’s most beloved songs, including “In My Own Little Corner,” “Impossible/It’s Possible” and “Ten Minutes Ago,” alongside a hilarious and romantic libretto by Tony Award nominee Douglas Carter Beane as well as some new characters and surprising twists. 
This show is great for the whole family! Since it a full-length, Broadway-style musical, it is recommended for ages 6 and up.
