In one of his favourite venues, Dougie will celebrate a long and vibrant 50 years as a songmaker and inspired performer by focussing on some of the songs and tunes that have brought him success at home and abroad, in the company of musical friends who have been important to his journey.

Perth Concert Hall has become a ‘home’ venue for Perthshire born MacLean, who lives in Butterstone near Dunkeld. He has filled the Hall on many occasions during his long running Perthshire Amber Festival.

VOCES8, joined by composer-in-residence, Taylor Scott Davis, and choirs from across the United States, collaborate with Vox Anima London in this unique choral offering featuring well-known and recently-composed repertoire, under the direction of Barnaby Smith.

The concert opens with VOCES8 performing alongside the visiting ensembles and culminates with VOCES8’s solo set of beloved repertoire and a return of all performing forces to the stage for a stunning finale.
