A place for creation. This is the Leipzig Ballet under the new direction of Rémy Fichet. The two-part ballet evening »Humans« opens up space for creativity and abstract narratives in the art form of dance.

Louis Stiens, born in Munich and most recently a dancer at the Stuttgart Ballet, not only explores how dance takes root in the body and how this affects his personal choreographic language, but also examines the history of the Leipzig Ballet and its work in the GDR, creating links with Schubert’s »Unfinished« Symphony.

Starting in Scotland, the company will perform at Eden Court in Inverness, Universal Hall in Findhorn, Beacon ArtsCentre in Greenock and Platform in Glasgow, before travelling to The Place in London and finally, Riley Theatre in Leeds.
