His electrifying rise has taken him from the world’s greatest stages—the Met, La Scala, the Royal Opera House, Palais Garnier—to historic moments like performing at the closing ceremonies of the Paris Olympics and the reopening of Notre Dame Cathedral, earning him the title of “France’s new favorite tenor.” (The New York Times). Now, in a rare recital appearance for his Princeton University Concerts debut, Bernheim trades the grand opera house for an intimate chamber setting, bringing his signature artistry to a handpicked program of romance, longing, and nostalgia. True to its mission of promoting and raising awareness of classical music, the Montpellier Occitanie National Opera Orchestra tours the Occitanie region in various formations. The COR-des quartet is composed of two musicians from the Montpellier Occitanie National Orchestra, Julie Arnulfo (violin) and Sylvain Carboni (horn), and two collaborators, Nicolas Paul on cello and Olga Carboni on violin. From classical hits to essential French songs, among other gems, the four musicians offer a rich and eclectic program, some of whose melodies will stay with you long after the concert!
