Since its inception in 2008, our monthly blues night has remained a firm favourite on the club calendar, bringing top performers from the world of jazz and blues. Co-led by guitarist/vocalist Marcus Bonfanti (Ten Years After), pianist/vocalist Paddy Milner (Tom Jones) and featuring the dynamic Tony Remy (Jack Bruce) also on guitar, the Blues Explosion performs a night of electrifying blues - playing the music of BB King, Buddy Guy, Peter Green, Albert Collins, Dr. John and many more.

Combining original compositions with Blue Note classics and the spirit of Jimmy Smith’s organ trio tradition, the group brings together groove, improvisation and a deep appreciation of jazz’s blues roots.
