An ordinary girl is dancing in front of the mirror on an ordinary day when she suddenly stops. Something about her reflection isn’t quite ordinary. Perhaps she isn’t alone after all…

This is how the children’s ballet The Forgotten Children begins. The curious and fearless girl is determined to find out what happens if she climbs through the mirror—and this is where the adventure truly takes off. Suddenly, she finds herself in a bizarre underworld filled with strange characters, including the wicked Miss Master, who delights in stealing children’s hearts, a sneaky gang of cats, a troupe of cunning mice, and ghost children—lots of ghost children. But who are they? Why are they there? And what do they want?

The Forgotten Children

For the second time, the Royal Danish Ballet invites the audience to the Old Stage to experience three brand new choreographic works created by the theater's own strong choreographic talents. Koreorama no. 01 attracted thousands of guests last season and received praise from both audiences and critics. We are now continuing the success with Koreorama no. 02.
