New drama. New generations.

In Manhattan, a generation after the height of the AIDS epidemic, Eric, a sensitive soul, and a talented yet self-destructive writer, Toby, share a turbulent love affair that tears everyone around them apart. While the United States, where Trump wins the presidency, is becoming more and more polarised, the world around them seems to be collapsing.

Their lives are linked to several other fates, which has dire consequences for them all. Some are haunted by the past, while others are hungry for a future.

The Inheritance is the story of three generations of gay men searching for the legacy that binds us together as human beings and lovers. It is a tale of the generation that followed those affected by the AIDS epidemic.

A fiendish mirror, crafted by the Devil himself, distorts all that is good into ugliness and absurdity. When it shatters, its shards fall upon the human world, where the children Kay and Gerda share a profound friendship. However, when a splinter from the mirror lodges in Kay's eye, it transforms his joy and enthusiasm for life into disdain and calculating cynicism. His cold pride summons the Snow Queen herself, who entices him with her icy kisses and embrace. Suddenly, Kay disappears from Gerda, and no one knows his whereabouts.

Moesgaard transforms into a frozen landscape as Hans Christian Andersen’s beloved fairytale returns in a spectacular family production.

A magic mirror, crafted by the Devil, distorts everything beautiful, making it appear ugly and ridiculous. When the mirror shatters, its splinters rain down upon the world, where childhood friends Kay and Gerda share a deep and loving bond. But when a tiny shard lodges itself in Kay’s eye, his joy and warmth turn to scorn and cold-hearted cynicism. His newfound arrogance catches the attention of the Snow Queen herself, who lures him away with icy kisses and an irresistible embrace. Suddenly, Kay vanishes—without a trace.

America, I Feel Pretty, Tonight, Maria, Somewhere. The popular evergreens of West Side Story can now be experienced at the Opera House. Bernstein’s musical classic is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that deserves revisiting again and again and again …

Shakespeare’s tragic love story about Romeo and Juliet inspired Leonard Bernstein and lyricist Stephen Sondheim to create the story of the two lovebirds, Tony and Maria, involving two rival street gangs in 1950s New York.

West Side Story set to music by Bernstein is a sure crowd-pleaser. The iconic musical ingeniously fuses symphonic sound with the jazzy and Latin American rhythms the composer experienced in clubs and on the streets of his hometown, New York.
