Who are you when no one is watching? And who are you when everyone is? At Flakhaven, Nojus Sabalis, the man behind H.C. Andersen Festival's long-running light shows, joins the Odense Jazz Orchestra to transform the public square into a living theatrical installation in SKYGGEMASKINE, an intense and sensory performance where music, voices and light merge. Inspired by H.C. Andersen's tale "The Shadow," the show presents a newly composed musical work focused on our lives in a digital age. Recommended age: 14 and up.

In 2023, Joni Mitchell turned 80, and it was celebrated, among other things, with a magnificent and totally sold-out tribute concert on the Royal Theatre's iconic Gamle Scene. It was a memorable evening, and at numerous requests the concert will return in autumn 2024.

In scrupulous respect for the original material, a number of the country's best singers and musicians breathe new life into Joni Mitchell's enormous and awe-inspiring back catalogue, which is delivered with nerve, presence, authenticity and joy of playing.

After a completely sold-out concert in 2016, 'CELEBRATING THE LAST WALTZ' finally returns to the Royal Danish Theatre's iconic Old Stage.

The Last Waltz

Celebrating The Last Waltz is an authentic and personal tribute to some of the greatest icons in rock history.

With this concert you will have a rare opportunity to relive one of the most mythical concerts in rock history – in one of the country's most beautiful concert halls.

On Thanksgiving Day 1976, The Band – one of the most influential Americana and roots rock bands of the 60s and 70s, known for their tight vocal harmonies and collaborations with Bob Dylan – gave their legendary farewell concert, The Last Waltz, in San Francisco. It became a musical highlight, with some of the biggest names of the era sharing the stage: Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Van Morrison, Eric Clapton and many more. The concert was immortalized by film director Martin Scorsese and today stands as one of the most iconic nights in rock history.
