Together with all of Denmark's Sigurd Barrett and a huge children's choir, we dive deep into the soil of Funen and offer a fantastic musical story about our fine Funen - with original songs by Sigurd, inspired by the stories of Funen schoolchildren. Look forward to a re-hearing of all of Sigurd's songs, which he composed for the 10 Funen municipalities in connection with our 75th anniversary in 2021. Here are stories about the many exciting people from Funen, about special regional dishes, traditions, and the great mystery of where the Brunswicker actually comes from.

Nysted Orgelmuseum presents a very special family concert with the well-known musician and entertainer Sigurd Barrett. Sigurd is loved by both children and adults for his ability to convey music and stories in an engaging and entertaining way. This concert will be a unique opportunity to experience Sigurd's talented story combined with the 15 organs worth preserving in Nysted Organ Museum.



The concert will focus on conveying the fascinating history and unique sound of the organ to children and their families. Sigurd Barrett will guide the audience through a world of musical adventures, where he will bring the organs to life with his characteristic charm and musicality. Through fun and educational stories, the children will gain insight into the many facets of the organ and its role in the history of music.



Sigurd Barrett will not only play the organs, but will also involve the audience in interactive elements that make the concert both entertaining and educational. Children will have the opportunity to ask questions and participate actively, making the experience even more engaging.



This family concert is part of the SoundScape concert series and is designed to inspire and excite children and young people. With Sigurd Barrett's help, we hope to spark a lifelong interest in music and organs in the next generation.

Sigurd fortæller H.C. Andersen is a theater concert with storytelling, music, songs, plays and ballet dancers for the whole family. Sigurd Barrett, who has received a number of awards for his work with communication, tells a string of pearls of Andersen's famous fairy tales, which are visualized by musicians, plays and dancers. The common thread in the dramaturgy is how Andersen's fairy tales can be understood and used by modern children and young people in our own time. With him Sigurd has the guitarist and trumpeter Eskild Dohn as well as the actor Sandra Bothmann and ballet children from Det Kgl. Theater Ballet School Odense. The performance is based on Sigurd Barrett's book "Sigurd tells HC Andersen's fairy tales" with accompanying songs.

The Royal Danish Theatre

Based on the popular TV series 'Sigurd and the Symphony Orchestra', we open the door to the fantastic universe of the orchestra. Together with all of Denmark's Sigurd, we focus sharply on the many diverse instruments, each of which can do something very special, and which together create the great symphonic sound, so that we are all blown back in our seats. We will of course also sing along to 'Symfo-én, Symfo-two, Symfo-tre', when the Odense Symphony Orchestra and a large children's choir with well-singing children from all over Funen dive headlong into the music together with the always exuberant Sigurd. Come and feel the joy of music bubbling from the 300 performers on stage in an experience that can be felt - and taken home with you.

The popular Sigurd Barrett is ready with a new, warm Christmas performance together with the actor and singer Lisbeth Kjærulff.

They have to get ready for Christmas, but is there even time for Christmas cheer in the busy world we have gradually created? Sigurd's new Christmas performance brings children and adults into the fairytale land of Christmas, where song, music, Christmas stories and banter come together into a higher unity, and as always, Sigurd's performance is not only for the little ones but also for adults and grandparents.

Sigurd's Christmas is a tribute to the traditional Christmas that we know and love, and there will be ample opportunity to sing along, laugh and be moved.
