From Mickey Mouse to Michael Jackson, and traditional Hawaiian song to Kabuki, the falsetto sound is deeply ingrained within our global consciousness. But what does it evoke, and what does it express? This synesthetic concert experience blends the intangibility of the countertenor voice with the invisibility of smell molecules.

For Lindsay Rider, this program has been over a decade in the making. This is the story of a girl born into a musical family who found joy in singing and enjoyed the beginnings of a fabulous performing career. Then, something unexpected happened which would change her trajectory. In the following years, she would struggle with heartbreak, grapple with tough realizations and eventually find her way into her joy again, this time better than ever before. Through music that spans decades and genres, come experience an evening of musical storytelling that will leave your feet tapping and your heart full.

Members of the fabulously whimsical Dance Heginbotham join the eclectic ensemble The Hands Free for The Party Scene, a music and dance extravaganza inspired by The Nutcracker and your rowdy holiday office party. Lightly immersive and family friendly, The Party Scene features Nathan Koci, accordion; Christina Courtin, violin; James Moore, guitar and banjo and Eleonore Oppenheim, bass, plus students from Montclair State University. All guests are encouraged to don impressively festive seasonal sweaters.
