Unbound – Bigonzetti, Foniadakis, Smith is an evening that takes you on a journey through diverse dance styles . Ballet Schwerin showcases its versatility, moving from the elegance of pointe work to the freedom of barefoot dance , from classical ballet to powerful, contemporary dance. The performance blends classical music with folk rhythms, allowing the dancers to explore different forms of movement. Shifting from the austere beauty of classical ballet to the raw energy of contemporary dance, the dancers challenge body and mind to adapt and transform. With every step, they break down the boundaries of tradition , demonstrating that dance can be both powerful and liberating.

Artistic Director, Mario Radačovský, has curated ‘Oktetto’ especially for this unique performance at The Grange on Thursday 6 June. A wide range of ballet forms will be danced, from jewels from the treasury of the classical ballet heritage, through the neoclassical choreographies of the artistic director, to contemporary ballet created by Nacho Duato.
