Opera Theater of Connecticut marks its milestone 40th anniversary with a landmark season featuring Johann Strauss II’s sparkling masterpiece, Die Fledermaus. Taking the stage on August 7, 9, and 10, 2025, at the Andrews Memorial Theater, 54 East Main Street, Clinton, this production, sung and performed in English, reimagines the timeless operetta with a fresh script by Artistic Director Alan Mann.

This impactful opera is an experience unlike anything seen before at the Finnish National Opera. In an uprising on a farm, a group of animals overthrow their farmer’s tyrannical reign. Little by little, their new society begins to mirror human civilisation, and their original principles of equality are cast aside.
