Frédéric Chopin wrote only two piano concertos, but each reveals a world of emotional depth, elegance, and youthful brilliance. In a rare and intimate performance, both concertos will be presented in one evening, offering a fresh perspective on these Romantic masterpieces. Pianists Mikołaj Warszyński and Zuzana Šimurdová will take to the Winspear stage to perform these concertos with a string quintet comprised of members of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra.
