ALWAYS A BRIDESMAID is a full-length comedy play written by Jones Hope Wooten about four Southern high school friends who promise to be bridesmaids in each other's weddings on their senior prom night, no matter what.  More than 30 years later, the friends are still determined to honor their vow and navigate the challenges of love and marriage as bridesmaids.  The play takes place in a bridal parlor at a Southern wedding reception venue and explores the complex nature of their  friendships over the course of the six years and multiple weddings.
