The long-running and ever-popular tribute to the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. returns as the combined choirs of Washington Performing Arts’ Gospel Choirs and Choral Arts celebrate the power of music, collaboration, and the human spirit. The program transcends race, age, and gender to unite all who honor Dr. King’s ideals with songs that unite our spirits.

Be inspired by a gripping performance of Joseph Haydn’s Creation featuring the Choral Arts Orchestra. This masterful oratorio brings to life the biblical creation story, pairing vivid orchestration and powerful choral harmonies. Experience the grandeur and beauty of Haydn’s work as interpreted by Artistic Director Marie Bucoy-Calavan in a performance that promises to be uplifting and rooted in the creative spirit.
