Opera goes swimming pool! As the small venue of the Deutsche Oper Berlin is closed at the beginning of the season due to renovation work, the team of the first Tischlerei premiere of the season set out in search of an alternative space. They found what they were looking for in the immediate neighbourhood - the Stadtbad Charlottenburg, just a few steps away.

EMERSION concludes the two-part Hinterhalt series of the 2024/25 season at the Tischlerei. Thematically following on from IMMERSION (September 2024), director Ariane Kareev looks for connecting elements and parallels between the new productions of the entire season and continues the themes raised from today's perspective. The result is a transdisciplinary evening with contemporary artistry, real-time visuals and techno.
