It opens with Gabriela Ortiz’s Teenek, an energetic piece inspired by Indigenous culture that explores the idea of belonging. Then TFO’s own Anna Kate Mackle takes center stage in Alberto Ginastera’s Harp Concerto— a thriller that pushes the instrument far beyond what you might expect. To close, the full ballet music from Manuel de Falla’s The Three-Cornered Hat brings the heat, packed with flamenco flair, swagger and irresistible rhythm.
