She brings her new project Mothers of the Music, inspired by motherhood and the advice she received from fellow female musicians about the life of an artist with children.

The USC Thornton Jazz Honors Combo, under the direction of Professor Jason Goldman, pushes the boundaries of jazz music by combining elements of multiple arts disciplines with jazz to create a forward-thinking musical experience.
The event also features two student ensembles led by faculty member Katie Thiroux, featuring a blend of original compositions and standards performed by USC Thornton students.
