A ceremonial, elegant dance is hidden behind the name Pavane, derived from the Spanish word for peacock. Ravel's "Pavane pour une infante défunte" has become particularly famous, and the Celli Family plays it in a version for eight cellos. In addition to this elegiac, dreamy composition, the program also includes works and arrangements of a different kind.
