Marko Simsa and the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra invite us on an exciting and varied journey along the Vltava. With numerous audio examples, they show us, piece by piece, what Bedrich Smetana tells us musically in his composition. From the springs in the Bohemian Forest to the capital Prague, we listen to the sounds of the water, let ourselves be enchanted by fairies, look at proud castles, celebrate rural wedding music and reach our destination after raging rapids.
