It is the home of Papa Baboon, Mr. Moufflon, the marmot girl and several other animal residents. »Nice and cuddly and totally familiar« . But one day the rhinoceros dies and the newcomer, a young bear from Siberia, causes turmoil with his curiosity and uncomfortable questions. What is the deal with the rickety zebra creatures on the other side of the buzzing fence? Why does stinking smoke keep coming out of the tall chimney even in the most beautiful spring? And who are these booted people that everyone is afraid of? Papa Baboon says that no one should interfere, after all they are doing well in the zoo. But the bear cannot just look away; he decides to take action.
