Antoine's life could not be better. He is a successful businessman, has a media presence, and an attractive woman is at his side. Then he is surprised by an unannounced visitor from Africa: Antoine's former childhood sweetheart Maryse has broken off her humanitarian mission in Malawi and is returning to Paris. She reminds her ex-boyfriend that they got married on a whim in Las Vegas 25 years ago. She wants a divorce, but then she would be entitled to half of his assets. How can Antoine save his luxurious life? He moves into his housekeeper's apartment and plays the role of a welfare recipient. However, he underestimates Maryse's helper syndrome and catapults himself more and more into a seemingly hopeless situation.
