Three physics experts live together in a psychiatric hospital. One claims to be Albert Einstein, the other thinks he is Sir Isaac Newton. Finally, the third, Johann Wilhelm Möbius, has a mental image of King Solomon. All three are playing a crazy game of hide-and-seek and surveillance. Möbius has left his wife and children and voluntarily placed himself in isolation. The reason: he has discovered the "world formula" which he does not want to pass on because it could lead to the extinction of humanity. The other two men are also faking their illness. In reality, they are secret agents of competing superpowers, sent after Möbius in order to seize the knowledge advantage that will secure world domination. What none of them knows is that the psychiatrist has her own plans...
