The flute was possibly one of the first instruments of ancient times. With the help of air and a tube, the first notes and the first music were created. Today, the flute is found in countless versions and variations. Together with the big band Blood Sweat Drum + Bass, the Randers Chamber Orchestra explores the extraordinary potential of the bamboo flute in collaboration with the two orchestras in a series of new works and arrangements composed by Jens Chr. Chappe Jensen, who is the leader of the big band.
