Ellen Doty is a soulful singer-songwriter with a world-class voice. Her background in traditional jazz continues to influence her work, drawing from a number of genres while staying true to herself. A born storyteller, Ellen’s intimate and personal lyrics shine through her stunning vocals. Born and raised in southern Alberta, she currently lives in Edmonton and represents Canada on the world stage, from performing at Tokyo Jazz Festival to opening for Grammy award winning artists Gregory Porter and Lisa Fischer.
