The Taming of the Shrew , one of Shakespeare's first romantic comedies, has crossed the ages with its universal themes. In this adaptation, two people learn to know and love each other. On one side, Catharina, an independent young woman in control of her destiny. On the other, Petruchio, a dominant young man, tries to seduce her, and very clumsily.
