With the revue Youngsters Unplugged, the participatory Dortmund opera clubs established a new format in the past 2023/24 season under the direction of director Alexander Becker, in which the audience could experience the exciting diversity of film music up close. At the Dortmund Opera, this is now becoming a tradition! For the first time, the focus is on the youngest: Embark on a musical journey through several decades of film history with the Opera Kids - the spectrum ranges from well-known songs from Disney classics such as The Lion King to the magical sounds from Harry Potter . Our young up-and-coming talents receive active support from participants of the Opera Youngsters and the newly founded YoungSymphonics. And this time, too, the performance will be rounded off by humorous interludes - including the obligatory film quote quiz.
