Faced with the perpetuation of gender-based violence in the world of sport, the struggles of female athletes are now intertwined with those of other women. In turn Caryatids, soccer players, TV presenters, ordinary women or warriors, six performers focus on fragments of history to understand the links that are woven between the culture of sports as a spectacle and rape culture. In a performative relay game, Sportriarcat explores the evolution of the #MeToo movement towards a liberation of the body and the image. A sensitive, explosive and humorous work that invites the public to take a new look at our sports and media institutions.
