Terrible things are happening in the clinic rooms of Doctor Prentice's private psychiatric clinic. An interview with the future secretary, Geraldine, takes on questionable aspects when she is asked to undress so that her qualifications can be checked. His wife Mrs. Prentice suddenly appears out of nowhere, urgently in need of a drink after a secret rendezvous with the bellboy Nick Beckett from the station hotel. He now wants to blackmail her with explicit photos. Meanwhile, a commissioner and a state inspector appear, who have their own questions in the spreading chaos. A daring chase ensues in which neither the right item of clothing nor the right gender can lead to the answer. In the end, it all ends with Winston Churchill's penis.
