Although it must distort to accommodate us, we give it meaning; a lighthouse evokes hope, the stars show direction, and spotlights highlight artistry. Just as much as it unflinchingly exposes difficult truths, light can also simultaneously bring boundless warmth. Through our daily interactions with light, we find it is transformed—and so too, are we.
