We move next to the beautiful University City home of Dr. Richard and Mary Ann Shaw. This concert will showcase several past and present CRESCENDO! Scholarship winners, along with bassoonist Donita Bauer and pianist Jonathan Heaney. CRESCENDO! is one of Union Avenue Opera’s flagship outreach initiatives, now in its eleventh year, which offers undergrads from the St. Louis area free training, coaching and scholarship and performance opportunities. This specially curated program will offer a variety of styles and genres sure to delight.
