We conclude our 2025 series in the Engine House #1 home of Marion B. Smith, a local architect who has transformed the former firehouse into her home, architectural offices, gallery and artist’s space. For this special evening a quartet of UAO’s string players – Wanda Becker, Lorraine Glass-Harris, Stephen Luehrman, and Beverly Field along with mezzo-soprano Debra Hillabrand will present Jake Heggie’s 2012 Camille Claudel: Into the Fire. This dramatic 8 movement work is inspired by life and work of the French sculptor Camille Claudel.  The quartet will also perform the beautiful Puccini quartet Chrisantemi.
