Join the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra for an unforgettable evening of Mozart with the world-renowned violinist Maxim Vengerov at the iconic Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall, New York, NY. This special performance, part of Vengerov's three-year Perspectives series at Carnegie Hall, is scheduled for November 6, 2024, at 8:00 PM.

The concert will feature a selection of Mozart's masterpieces, including Concertone for Two Violins, K. 190, with Miho Saegusa, Violin Concerto No. 3 in G Major, K. 216, Adagio for Violin and Orchestra in E Major, K. 261, Violin Concerto No. 1 in B-flat Major, K. 207, and Violin Concerto No. 4 in D Major, K. 218. This 2.5-hour performance, including an intermission, promises to be a memorable experience, showcasing three of Mozart’s five violin concertos, among other works.

Maxim Vengerov, celebrated as one of the greatest living string players, will deliver an incendiary performance, demonstrating why he is at the top of his game. This event marks the official start of Vengerov's Perspectives series, offering a rare opportunity to hear Mozart’s complete works for violin and orchestra across two consecutive evenings.
