"Young artists need people who believe in them. Now I want to be a mentor to the new generation of musicians," says Candy Dulfer, who gratefully reflects on the initial support of her father, Dave Stewart, and Prince. "I'm thrilled to have been able to introduce new talent at the Rheingau Music Festival for many years. This time, it's all about the dialogue between the generations, and I'll be performing with the two siblings Justin-Lee, who masters all instruments, and Jamie-Leigh Schultz, a fantastic drummer and bassist. Both have played with stars like Sheila E., Stevie Wonder, and Robert Glasper. My youngest guest is bassist Aronthebassist. Despite his young age, his playing reminds me of Jaco Pastorius and other jazz greats. Together, we'll discover what we can learn from each other and present a fantastic concert in the Kurpark Wiesbaden."
