This year, the popular Ö1 classical music meeting point will once again be making a stop at the Salzburg Festival on its summer tour. Once again, the Ö1 team will temporarily transform the SalzburgKulisse at the Haus für Mozart into a radio studio – and you can join them live. The broadcast will feature a top-class trio of guests representing the three divisions of the Salzburg Festival – drama, concerts, and opera: actress Dörte Lyssewski, conductor Ingo Metzmacher, and opera singer Ausrine Stundyte. In conversation with Helene Breisach, the three will talk about their performances at this year's Salzburg Festival, share their artistic visions, and perform selected favorite music.

Her mother Clytemnestra and her lover Aegisth are to die for the murder of Elektra's father, Agamemnon. Clytemnestra, for her part, is tormented by anxious dreams and memories. Elektra is unable to win over her sister Chrysothemis to the plan to murder Clytemnestra and Aegisth. A mysterious stranger, who reveals himself to be her brother Orest, finally commits the deed. It is always difficult to say goodbye, and when the Odense Symphony Orchestra says goodbye to Pierre Bleuse as chief conductor, it will be with the help of our common language, music – which can express in detail everything that can be difficult to formulate in words, whether in Danish or French. Pierre's last concert in the role of chief conductor will be a heartfelt, heartfelt and heartwarming "au revoir", and in the first part of the concert he performs Richard Strauss' swan song of a monster hit: his Vier Letzte Lieder , which is at the top of the wish list for sopranos the world over. Few musical experiences surpass the sublime interplay that reveals itself in the four songs, all of which in one way or another deal with death and farewell, and which gently wraps the soprano's beautiful melodies in unsentimental orchestral velvet, as only a mature world-class composer can do.
