Producers Kristin Caskey, Mike Isaacson, Brian Anthony Moreland, and Ambassador Theatre Group present an all-new production of the groundbreaking, Tony Award-winning musical The Wiz, adapted from The Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum. The highly anticipated Broadway revival of The Wiz returns “home” to stages across America in an all-new Pre-Broadway tour, the first one in 40 years. The tour begins in The Wiz’s original home city of Baltimore, where the show made its world premiere 50 years ago.

This Tony Award-winning Best Musical, which has captivated audiences worldwide, returns to the stage for its first Broadway tour in 40 years. "The Wiz" offers a fresh twist on the classic tale of "The Wizard of Oz," blending soul, gospel, rock, and 70s funk into its iconic score, alongside a stirring narrative of Dorothy's quest for belonging in a contemporary world.

Directed by Schele Williams, with choreography by JaQuel Knight and a host of other acclaimed creatives, this production brings together a powerhouse team to reimagine Oz like never before. The show features a book by William F. Brown and a Tony Award-winning score by Charlie Smalls, among others, with additional material by Amber Ruffin. The design team includes Hannah Beachler for scenic design and Sharen Davis for costume design, ensuring a visually stunning presentation.

Performance dates are scheduled from March 4th to March 9th, 2025, with multiple showtimes to choose from. Audiences are advised that the production uses haze, smoke, and flashing lights.
